These are pitcher plants which I went looking for with some people from work. There are quite a few varieties as you can see. They are filled with water and attract flies.

We went to Miri for the weekend a few weeks back. The whole place was completely flooded. We wanted to go to Lambir Hills national park to see the waterfalls but it was too wet. Fortunately it cheered up enough for us to have a swim and a few cocktails.
